Pot of gold awaits BigChange customers

Just when you thought we couldn’t possibly do any more to help our customers…
I’m delighted to announce the launch of a new partnership between BigChange and Rated People, the UK’s number one online marketplace connecting homeowners with quality local tradespeople. BigChange customers can now opt into receiving live leads from the platform, creating a brand-new revenue pipeline. This means that jobs that are within your area, and relevant to your skills, will land directly into your BigChange system.
Following a successful trial, we are making the new Enterprise Deal available to all our customers. The cost of this service has averaged out at around 10% of the overall cost of the job – a bargain.
I believe this is going to be a game-changer for all the talented tradespeople and engineers on our platform. We began by offering mobile workforce management software, but have since expanded to provide high-quality lead generation through Rated People.
I can’t overstate the impact of this partnership. Around 1m jobs are posted on Rated People each year. These aren’t general enquiries; they are verified hot leads. Customers can access them through the BigChange platform – they don’t need to sign in to Rated People. The information is all there at their fingertips.
Marketing can be so expensive, and the return on investment on pay-per-click advertising is not always certain. I feel confident that the Enterprise Deal will offer certainty and growth to our customers, despite all the wider economic uncertainty. Lead generation software packages are out there but not all are effective, and some have a hefty price tag, while the Enterprise Deal allows customers to hold onto around 90% of the value of each job.
In its latest Home Improvement Trends Report, published this year, Rated People found that 92% of tradespeople expect their costs to rise. It’s never been more important to keep winning new work. And these leads aren’t just one-off projects – just think of the potential lifetime value of that customer! And don’t forget the impact of a happy customer’s recommendations to their network too.
