You Asked

For an at a glance way of seeing the difference between finished jobs and financially complete jobs.

We Delivered

Flags that show when the 2 different stages are completed.

There are 3 main stages when it comes to completing a job.

  1. Physically completing the work.
  2. Creating and issuing an Invoice.
  3. Receiving payment.

Each of those stages exists within BigChange but some companies need a clearer display of the gap between stages 1 and 2 – think of it as ‘work completed and invoiced but awaiting payment’. Why is that important? It marks the handoff between teams, moving away from the operations side of the business and across to the finance team, who can chase payment and manage the credit limits of the customer.

The move to stage 3 of the process also unlocks additional options, the key one being the ability to use the job profitability dashboards. These dashboards display:

  • Total sales vs. Invoiced & Uninvoiced jobs
  • Total costs vs. PO costs
  • Marginal trends
  • Actual margins by job type
  • Actual margins by contacts
  • Actual margins by resource.

Customers can find out more by reading our release notes page or, you can reach out to RoadCrew or your customer success representative.
