Release 23.08 and BigChange Pay

Release 23.08 is our latest major release, and we added a bumper crop of functionality to our financial offerings.

This latest update:

  • Allows users to create individual invoices for up to 100 selected jobs in a matter of clicks saving time and effort.
  • The ability to change line item descriptions, codes, quantities, and tax codes in purchase orders after syncing with Xero was added in release 23.07. In 23.08 it’s the turn of Sage. No longer do you need to create a new PO to add a last minute part.
  • BigChange Pay has been launched and is now live. Businesses of all sizes can take payments online, over the phone, and now on site when a job has been completed. Once the seamless onboarding process is complete, customers can preview the invoice before making payment. Click on the link below to find out how you can be paid quicker and set up BigChange pay.

Data As A Service

To celebrate the anniversary of BigChanges API, commonly referred to as WebServices we are pleased to announce the launch of two new products geared towards supporting developers and our data hungry customers.

Data as a Service which was announced at the pilot stage in September is now available to all customers who already use a BI tool to collect and share insights from multiple systems. If you are interested in combining your BigChange data with your other systems already housed in your data warehouse for a unified business perspective, please reach out to your customer success representative.

Developer Portal Launch

We predict that AI and system integrations are going to continue to be a focus in 2024, with the spotlight being shone on both very brightly this year.

At BigChange we want to facilitate the developer community to utilise the power of BigChange in any system that will support it. We have therefore released a brand new developer portal, housing documentation for our new API, and DaaS Dictionary.

BigChange Movember JustGiving

November is the month when men around the world ‘grow a mo’ in raising awareness for men’s mental health, prostate cancer, and testicular cancer.

Competition Time – Win a Mystery Prize

This month’s competition is something different and it’s disguised as a gift for you to keep little ones quiet for a while during the holidays. We want to see your drawings of something seasonal and job management related. For example, it could be a cozy fire being serviced by an engineer, or it could be Santa using a BigChange tablet to do a vehicle check.

Lloyds Business Excellence Awards

We had an absolute blast on the 14th of November at The Lloyds Bank British Business Excellence Awards with our fabulous customers: First Response Group, Upholstery2U, Cleanology, Quest Waste, and Sapphire Utility Solutions, who were all finalists.

We held a special drinks reception for our customers before the awards began, watch the video, it was truly a night to remember!

A special shout out to the wonderful Cleanology team, who took home The Lloyds Bank Best Small to Medium-Sized Business Award!
